Welcome to Team Robo MMA. We are formally Elite MMA - The Woodlands and we are the premiere Mixed Martial Arts training academy in the North Houston region building athletes in The Woodlands, Spring, and Conroe. We offer World Class Instruction in martial arts and fitness! If your interests are Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Self-Defense or just getting into shape we have a program to meet your goals. What you will find most unique about or Academy is our team atmosphere focusing on safe, yet productive programs. Our facility is 5,000 sq. ft. with the very best fitness and training equipment to include an MMA training cage, boxing ring, private training room, pro-shop, lockers, showers, and 8'x10' movie theater for social events.
Everything I have focused on in training has been geared to competition and self-defense. Currently, I am an Undefeated Pro MMA Fighter, 2008 NAGA Champion, and Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and Traditional Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt. In addition to me, we have a phenomenal staff of world class instructors ready to train you; to include Daniel Kim- MTIA Champion and Muay Thai World Cup Bronze Medalist, Chad Kight-Self Defense Expert, Lewis Wood - 33-1 Pro Boxer / NABF Champion, and Carl Edwards-Fitness Trainer of Pro Athletes.
If Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is one of your interests we have the most credible lineage outside of Brazil. After a life of martial arts and practicing BJJ since 1996, I was promoted in Brazil to the rank of Black Belt under Professor D. Silva Vieira of Gracie Barra. Above Professor Vieira are only Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and his father, the founder of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Carlos Gracie. You will be getting your internationally recognized ranking from the source.
I truly love coaching MMA and BJJ, and keep instruction focused on practical and effective strategies. I believe each of us is put on earth by God to serve one another, as a servant to my fellow man I found a love in coaching. The positive impacts I have seen Jiu-Jitsu make in my own and my students lives are so rewarding I couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I have and will always consider myself a student of martial arts and a teammate over a coach. I can say that each of the other coaches on our Team feel the exact same way.
On behalf of myself and the coaching staff, thank you for taking an interest in our Team. We look forward to you taking advantage of our FREE TRIAL and seeing what a life change it will make to become a Team Member!
See you on the mat,
Chad Robichaux “Robo”
“YOU CAN”
Inside and outside the school, we at Team Robo MMA strive to follow the Golden Rule: “Treat others like you would like to be treated.” With this philosophy we minimize injuries, develop friendships, and grow together.
Core Values
Our core values determine who we are and shall not be compromised for personal gain or short-term expediency. They shall guide our every action within ourselves, our team, our families, and our communities. With these essential and enduring principles we will build value in everything we do.
Golden Rule
It is our desire to strive to be exemplary in our treatment of others as we are willing to be treated. Honesty and integrity will be foremost in our every thought and decision. Fairness, caring, and mutual respect for one another will be evident in our every action.
Family Oriented
We must have a sincere respect for our team and families. Compassion and understanding will define our character as we consider the needs of others.
Relentless Pursuit of Improvement
With a disciplined and determined work ethic, we must strive for improvement for our team mates, our families, our community, and ourselves. Our team building and training programs will be unsurpassed in elevating one another to succeed. We will never give less than 100% and always strive to live up to our team motto, “You Can”.
Stewardship
We are entrusted with the well being of one another, and to be role models for our communities. As role models, we will add value to each other, following our belief that no man stands taller than when he stoops to lift another.
